Shoulder Belt/Baldrick (Bayonet) Infantry of the Line. Whitened Buff.
Used between 1798 & 1824 as a shoulder belt to carry the bayonet. Also referred to as a Baldric and it replaced the waist belt.
A breast plate was used at the chest to connect the tywo ends. Thes Breast Plates are available both plain or engraved, either GR or a Regiment No. Can also be sold as a "square"(Sold separately)
